Support Coordination
Support coordination helps a National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) participant to make the best use of the supports in their NDIS plan. Support coordination is a capacity building support which assists a participant to understand and use their NDIS plan to pursue their goals; connect with NDIS providers, community and mainstream and other government services; and build confidence and skills to use and coordinate supports.
What is the future of Support Coordination?
The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) will be setting up a new Support Coordination and Connection service (SCC).
From 1 July 2028, a participant will no longer pay for support coordination services with funding from their NDIS plan. Instead, they will choose from a list of providers funded directly to delivery these services.
Please note it is unlikely Chrysalis Collective will be staying in this space due to being a small organisation. However, we will support existing clients to transition and will be growing our disability support, peer mentor and capacity building services.
